Vanilla Coke Update...

I know you all feel the importance of this post. I had to let everyone know that I think they have brought Vanilla Coke back! I have found it at our gas station up the street now too! I am soooo excited! Now I don't have to make my own :( I don't know if I will survive now!!! That special blend has gotten me through many a fun evenings! :D

Vanilla Coke!

I was sceptical when Coke put out Vanilla Coke, but I decided to give it a go. I typically don't like flavored soda, but Vanilla Coke was good to me. I started drinking it instead of my usual Dr. Pepper. Then all of a sudden there was no VC! What's up with that?!?!? I was disappointed one day when I went into a convience store and couldn't find a VC. I spent close to 5 minutes just staring at the coolers thinking it had to be there somewhere and I was just overlooking it. Nope, it just wasn't there. I haven't been able to find any since either. I went back to my DP.

I joke with my family and friends that I make my own VC with Coke and Vanilla Vodka, but we all know I am kidding. I don't have time for alcohol! Too much to do...just grab a DP and go!

Well, today I went into a local dollar store and guess what?!!?!? Right there in the soda cooler were VC!!! I was surprised! I had to buy one. I don't know why I only bought one, but I know tomorrow I will be going back to get a few more. I don't know why they took them away, but I really wish they would bring them back. For me at least!

Bath Time!

I took these pictures a few months ago. I am really bad about getting pictures developed.

I was watching Drew and Amanda's baby (Audrey); her and Colton got really dirty eatting dinner so a bath was in order! They were too cute so, of course, I had to take pictures!

Bathtime is fun! Aren't they sooo cute?!?!?

They are also leaving for Colorado this weekend so we went to visit Monday and say goodbye. We took a few pictures of the kids together:

Fried Chicken

I just got done cooking fried chicken. Now that I have learned how to cook it and make it taste good, I want to eat it all the time! I actually fry up boneless chicken tenders. They are sooo good. I look forward to eatting them. I use buttermilk to marinade the chicken and double dip it in a mixture of flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. MMMMMM Good!

The kids were in rare form today. All I heard was fighting and arguing. I couldn't get them to calm down and just play. Spent most of the day chasing Colton out of the bathroom since he has learned how to open doors. He likes to put things in the toilet. Lost a bottle of shampoo today. With a little help from Wyatt he poured the bottle in there. *sigh* I am going to have to toddler proof the bathroom door. It has a lock, but I can't ever get it unlocked from the outside. That's the only time they played together.

I was planning on going to church tomorrow, but we just don't have the gas money. Sad, I know, but that's how it is. I have been home all week and I will be home tomorrow too. Oh, well. I think God understands and won't hold it against us.

Yeah ME!

Yeah ME! I revamped my blog and I must say that I think it looks rather nice! What do you all think? It took me a bit to get the hang of it, but it was fun learning HTML! Now I feel like I can do it again...if I want! Go ME! WooHoo! Boy, it feels good to learn something new!

On the other hand, Colton has just figured out he can climb out of his crib so I keep having to get up and go put him back to bed! Argh! :)
